Another big problem is that a nice, new PC that can play games effectively can cost a thousand dollars or more if you want a good one. But then that PC doesn't work as well after 2 or 3 years. Consoles can work much longer.

We have Oblivion for both the 360 and the PC. On one PC, it looks just as nice as the 360, and I prefer the PC controls. Not to mention user created mods I can download. However, on a slightly older PC, it is so laggy even with graphics set to minimum so you can't see 10 ft in front of you. On the 360, it works fine, but it is a different experience.

And I hate DLM. I will buy the game once, and since we have multiple PCs, will install it on all of them. I understand having multiple copies to play multiplayer, but I greatly prefer to never need to use the CD after install. To be honest, it isn' t that hard to get a pirated copy of a game. And companies making it hard to acess just make people who want to buy games to support the developers irritated, and irritated consumers are more likely to get the game illeagly.
