" nice screenshots! I might play more if it looked like that on my standard def set. I have played all of the BF games but as a PC gamer I didn't bother with 1943. Aside from the engine it really feels like a dumbed down version of what I am used to. I am glad it is successful and will allow them to make new games in the series the experience is better on PC especially now that they have announced no further plans for 1943. They made their money so I guess it can wither and die at this point"

"an't help but think that the Diablo series is the closest modern day equivalent to the original Legend of Zelda which is probably why Diablo III is higher on my must play list than any future Zelda game. I'd still list A Link to the Past and The Legend of Zelda in my top 10 favorite but you are spot on by calling the series stale. I don't know that Link needs a voice but at the same time he can't be all yells and grunts as he was in his most recent adventure. Give me all or nothing. And PLEASE no more music! Nice article"

"Eidos can't get the score they want maybe they should thank the reviewer for their input, pull the game to work on it longer, and release a product that warrants the score they want. Shady activity like this really indicates they just want to trick consumers into purchasing launch week knowing that the game may not have legs or generate "word of mouth" recommendations amongst gamers. I know that money is the bottom line here and they are counting on first month sales but this is a red flag for me. Buyer beware:Initial reviews may not be accurate. It will be interesting to compare pre launch reviews with the metacritic score post launch"
