I had to choose between girls, and videogames. I ended up with the one that didn't say no to me.

It doesn't come out of anyone's paycheck, they simply throw the empty RS2 case it to the shrink drawer and let corporate handle it. Gamestop makes too much money to adjust anyone's paycheck, the kid might just get fired.

My video game wish is to trade all of it in for a cute girl with a considerable amount of self respect, that resembles Hitomi. Even if just a little. But she has to be nice.

There.

I was too busy being Master Chief at one of the Gamestop midnight launches. I love doing it, gets me a free copy every time! ^_^

I'm not a hoarder. I'm a collector. Having a game collection is like having both a library and a museum at once.

Are you going to list your collection for us to bid on? I'm always up for adding new items to my collection... :)

Don't even get me started on Halo... I was the first one to spend months building my own spartan armor; just for the midnight release of Halo2! The cool thing about that is, the suit got me free Halo3, ODST, and soon a free copy of REACH by doing Gamestop appearances.

Anyway, the beta was ok, nothing really new, but nothing bad either. I also enjoy the [Halo] series for the story first, and multi-player comes in second.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go get some batteries for my mjolnir mark 6's HUD  ^_^

Its true, most people don't read the TOS included in the documentation of "their" new game console..

Just because you paid for it, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it. By using it, you have agreed to the terms and limitations of the document. And going against it, then complaining about actions taken against your decision, leaves you looking like the tool.

Point in case, modding is for piracy, any other way and its just a silly attempt to justify your criminal act. Want to develop? Get a degree, buy a dev kit, or get a job in the industry. Just because you can dump a game to your hard drive, doesn't make you a "homebrew developer" you're still a pirate. And you stink.

I don't like to support second hand sales. A game is a piece of software and just like a retail copy of Windows, you agree to the TOS by opening the package and using it. If I were a developer and I saw that 15-20 people played the same copy of my game instead of each buying their own, I'd be ticked off as well. That's ONE game I got paid for, while gamestop resold that same disc 14-19 times. I fully support publishers wanting to protect their investments from people who think they can just give them the shaft, and still think they have the right to complain about it.

Unless a game is discontinued or impossible to find new, I refuse to support gamestop buying second (or third, fourth, fifth...) hand games.

My argument is very simple... PC for work, consoles for fun.

I absolutely despise playing on a keyboard. Just as playing on a stand up arcade, holding down buttons on a keyboard will cramp the top of my hand in a few minutes. Not fun.

The only game I play on my PC is the arcade version of Killer Instinct. Its one of my all time favorites and it seems like it will never make it to a console. And I use a 360 controller. PC gaming is like owning a mac, you spend so much money, just to keep up with the other guys, i.e. consoles.

Other than that, I use my PC for 3D work in Maya, and all my consoles for gaming fun.
