FEATURED POST
Being a long time reader of Bitmob and many gaming-related sites, I figured it was time to properly introduce myself by creating a Meet The Mob page.

Choosing the right sounds for a game is just as important as carefully crafting its story. What would Mario be without his theme?

Man, now I feel bad that I missed out on contributing to the final jukebox post! It was still very fun to submit and listen to other member's musical selections. Thanks James for such a great run!

@Gregory That's such a great song. I'm surprised it hasn't been posted yet!

Phantasy Star Portable 2 on PSP is a huge improvement as well. It added some features from Zero and mixed it up into a simpler version of PSU.

I'm a huge Phantasy Star fan. I have almost every copy of PSO and PSU, including some limited edition imports and art books. But I have to agree with you that PSU was a step back from what PSO was.

PSO had a basic formula of making your hero, adventuring, and collecting loot. That was pretty much the premise for the entire game. Everybody who has played PSO has said the same thing about it: It was awesome. However, when you look at PSU's structure, it's too complex for something so little in return. You had to level up all your skills by spamming the Y/Triangle button for hours. You had to synthesize items in your room which could actually end up destroying your items if it failed (unlike the mag where you could feed that thing anywhere --- and get character stats in return).

I'm also on board with the idea of scrapping the monthly fee entirely. Phantasy Star needs to return to it's simplistic values. Hell, even giving the fans a Phantasy Star V would be okay too.

@James Okay! Use this track instead: Because the jukebox will be no longer, let us celebrate it with a Street Fighter 4 ending in EGM fashion.

I'm going to miss the jukebox ever so. I have a song planned for the final installment that may seem a little strange at first, but it will all make sense! However for now, I think another Half-Life 2 track is in order:

I think a project like this is exactly what Bitmob needs! I look forward to future episodes. Maybe I will make a guest appearance one of these days. :)
