Editor's note: James is planning a special Bitmob Community Jukebox for its 10th edition, and he needs your help. Do you have any favorite video game remixes? Let James know in the comments section! -Brett
What is the Bitmob Community Jukebox? Let me answer that question with three more questions:
Have you ever violently shaken your fists at the heavens while screaming faux-Latin to the thunderous march of Final Fantasy 7's One-Winged Angel?
Have you ever skanked till you dropped listening to soundtrack of Incredible Crisis?
Have you ever made love to the sweet, pelagic tunes of Yasunori Mitsuda's Chrono Cross score?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, or if you merely enjoy video game music in a way that isn't weird, then the Bitmob Community Jukebox is for you. Each week I curate a column based on the concept of a virtual, Internet-based playlist. It's like the classic bubbler jukeboxes of the '50s, but without having to deal with the harassment of angry greasers down at the local fountain.
To celebrate Community Jukebox #10, I'm planning an extra-special edition composed entirely of remixes of video game songs -- and I need your help!
See, I've kind of shot myself in the foot with this one. I'm not really into the remix scene.
Then why do an extra-special edition composed entirely of remixes? I'll tell you why: I know the Bitmob community will come through for me. That, and I'm really, really stubborn.
So help me out by telling me your favorite remixed game music in the comments below! Let's make this the best Bitmob Community Jukebox yet.
Here are the rules:
- Mash-ups or versus songs are totally welcome, as well as more traditional techno remixes.
- Please don't submit song from The Minibosses, NESkimos or any their ilk. I will probably do a rock feature eventually too!
- If I get more than ten submissions, I will put up everything submitted!
- This is the big one: Only one submission per person. Comments with multiple submissions will not be listened to or posted. This is so I have less to parse when it comes time to post. If even one or two people give me ten links, well, that could lead to way too much music to deal with.
Other than that, go to town. Feel free to listen to previous Jukebox entries to get some inspiration.
I'm hoping to get some great submissions, folks, so have at it!

But high school aside, Brian wins this one.
The Legend of Zelda theme remixed in Metal by some band named Ranal Ape. Clever name!

Although I don't know what's wrong with putting another song out there for the community to check out if it's not meant to be the actual submission...

Not sure about the copyright and so on but he's a dubstep producer who probably expects his tunes to end up on mixes and in DJ sets all the time.

He originally submitted it to Dwelling of Duels as a joke entry the same month as his epic "Crystal Flash" remix -- a 21-minute medley of the entire Super Metroid score -- but I think "Space Pirates" is the far superior song.
It's hilarious, but is also pure awesome.
