" reason pork is feared, is becuase religions texts from looooong ago, said it was an unclean meat. Most historians assume that there was a health reason to avoid the meat. The fact that the religious leaders were also the health care proffesionals is a reason why it becuase a religious issue. This is probably why the writings of the apostels say it is okay to eat pork, becuase thier ability to clean the meat had advanced over time"
