Since the beginning of video games people have wanted to save their progress, now more than ever we can save, save, save. One of the very first types of saves, were in the NES cartridge days when developers would put a battery on the cart to keep a players progress saved. Normally this was done for RPG\'s but eventually showed up in all video game genres.
