The end of 2009 marks the Xbox 360's fifth birthday, but the chances of Microsoft launching an Xbox 720 style machine after the five year cycle look slim to none.  While the console has sold well and had many hits the three red lights situation cost Microsoft a lot and most importantly of all it really does not feel like the 360 is done yet.

You know I still watch CO-OP at weekends even though it's published on a Tuesday now. Force of habit I guess. But it's often striking to me that little gems of I-Phone games turn up on the show that I just don't know about. With my 360, PS3 and PC I know what's coming out and when but with the app store cool stuff just turns up and often gets lost in the vast void that is the current application store in I-tunes.

With the closure of EGM and talk of many papers having problems it's all doom and gloom for the print industry at the moment. But I find it hard to think of a world where I don't want to get the Guardian everyday (UK News paper) and my copy of EDGE in the mail every month.

So I thought I would make a little post saying how good it is to see bitmob up and running. The idea of a user generated gaming site, if you will is a very interesting one indeed and I for one am excited to see not only where it will go but, where it will lead people.
