Growing up as a child I remember spending numerous hours playing Nintendo with my younger brother. And one of our favorite games was a game called “Lifeforce”. It was a game done by Konami, so yes the Konami code worked. It’s a side scroller type game sort of like R-Type, and like most games from Konami at the time, it switched from a side scroller to a over the top view, like Contra did. Anyways, we spent numerous playing that game, so much that we had all of the maps memorized and knew all of the right places to be. I look back now and I think we could have finished that game in our sleep. So anyways, you may be wondering what is the point of this post, well it just so happens that about a month ago, I fired up the Wii and took a look at the Virtual Console, and what did I see, LifeForce was available to purchase, so let’s just say there was no hesitation on my part to buy this. So I would just like to thank Nintendo for letting me re-live my childhood, for a mere few dollars, like they say in the those credit card commercials, it’s priceless.
