A Katamari Wedding

Some people will take their gaming obsessions way too far...and we applaud them for it. An Idaho couple recently made Katamari Damacy (and thus, not each other) the focus of their happiest day ever, which made for some truly bizarre costumes, props, and decor.

See below for more photos of weird round things, and check out the original album from Kirsten Shultz Photography (thanks to Annette Cardwell for the tip).

I still wont play this game, but I wonder what everyone said when they found out it was based on a video game.

and thus, not each other

That is the key, isn't it? Weddings should be about weird fun. And guests appreciate it when it's not just a bride and groom worship.

Y'know when someone goes to get a tattoo and someone will always tell them, "What is this going to look like 30 years down the road? You're going to regret it!"

This is like that.

I want to know what crazy-ass song from the game they had playing as they walked down the aisle!

@Benjamin -- Perfect!

Shoe, you should have that music auto-play on this page. It makes the whole thing much more majestic.

They should have called in the guys from Mega64. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2wTq1yeww8.

Even though they're from San Diego...

Did they have a sticky ball that the bride rolled down the aisle to stick back up all the flower petals?
