Bitmob Community: Can We Get Your Opinion One More Time?

First, we'd like to thank you for the incredible response when we asked you last week to tell us just what it is that brings you to Bitmob.

Now we have one more favor to ask of you: Fill in a quick survey for us here.

Heck, we'll even give you two great reasons why:

1) As Bitmob continues to grow and evolve, we want to find out which aspects of the site you value the most. And for that, we need your help.

2) The survey is quick and easy -- nine multiple-choice questions, two minutes tops...and dare we say, fun? Well, you can be the judge of that.

After that, please return to your regularly scheduled browsing. And thanks in advance -- we value your opinions and will do our best to keep making this a site you just can't quit.

@Funkeh, you might get mentioned if an editor asks you to use your first and last name on the site...
Alejandro Quan-Madrid , January 22, 2010
@Alejandro Quan-Madrid, Details details details Whos to say the ability to change your name has not lead me to have the name of "funkeh" and nothing more.
Funkeh , January 22, 2010
@Alejandro - What if he is using his first name? And what if his last name is Munkeh? Would you mock him?

I was hoping there would be a question hinting that you guys were looking at ways of beefing up the way you handle community reviews. Alas, there were no such questions.

While I understand Bitmob not wanting to get into the Metacritic/score debate, but I do think the Bitmobbers who take the time to write reviews for the site are having their work undervalued.

I don't want to seem like a whiny brat though. I think anyone who sees me on this site regularly knows I am a huge fan of Bitmob. I just see myself more as a reviewer than anything, and wonder if Bitmob is the right place to post reviews sometimes.

I love you guys tons though!!

Done. Now back to ranting how the media doesn't appreciate the greatness of BlazBlue.

Done and done. Bitmob has a truly unique angle on promoting good writing. As a grammar Nazi, I highly approve.
McKinley Noble , January 24, 2010
2 minutes? Pschh.. I finished that in like 27 seconds. But seriously, good to know you guys are getting our feedback in more ways then just page views.

Perhaps an open ended question at the end might have been a nice addition. If there were one, I would have suggested adding some sort of forums to bitmob. Not sure exactly how they should be implemented along with the story content but I think they would help to build community as well as allowing people to get feedback on stories in the making.

Along with Frank's thoughts, perhaps adding a 'sections' menu by the Mini-Mobfeed that allows us to easily find all the community reviews for a given game or other types of content would be a nice addition. Of course, I suppose I could always use the searchbar too.

Thanks for all the work you guys are putting into the site, I definitely appreciate it. Here's to Bitmob Alpha 2.0/Beta 1.0!

P.S.- Mr. Noble, Nazis are bad.
