Well, we're a quarter of the way to the 100th edition with no signs of slowing down. This is the reason I love doing the Bitmob Community Jukebox: Despite the fact that we've amassed a seemingly exhaustive list of songs in the Archive, my fellow Bitmobbers continue to surprise me with all sorts of great video-game melodies I've never heard!

For go-around number 25, I decided to choose songs exclusively from great indies that everyone should play.

And the best community entry of the week comes from a little-known title, too. The rest of suggestions came in from all sides. Resident review robot, Brian Shirk, throws in a song from an early Falcom game that really packs a wallop. Repeat offender Ryan Conway shows us a tune which illustrates that not everything about Sonic 3D Blast completely sucked. And newcomer Chris Whitehead jumps in with a soul set from Nintendo's best balladeer, K. K. Slider.

1) Songs from music games with original music and licensed songs from game soundtracks like Grand Theft Auto are OK. Submissions from games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band will not be accepted. Otherwise, this post may turn into a competition between people's favorite bands.

2) Only one submission response per person, per week.

I will always try to find the official name of any song I use -- whether it comes from myself or the community. If I am unable to verify a song's title, I will mark it with an asterisk (*).

Finally, if you'd like to win the Double-Plus Good Song of the Week (the weekly best of award), try to think of an obscure song or a song you think the community and I have overlooked in previous posts.
