Remember when we did that HP Mini Netbook giveaway back in August? Well, it's like August all over again, at least in the free-laptop sense, because we've got another!
In association with Google Apps and Virgin America's in-flight WiFi service, we're giving away an HP Mini 1110NR -- all you have to do is post on Bitmob for a chance to win (full entry rules after the break).
For the technically minded, this item contains an Intel Atom N270 processor (1.60 GHz), 8GB solid-state drive, 1024MB of DDR2 SDRAM, and an 8.9" screen ideally suited for perusing your Gmail or waiting for Bitmob's blog editor to load while at cruising altitude. We're also throwing in a handsome laptop sleeve that's technically a bit too large for this particular netbook, but I'm sure you won't mind.
I call this one "laptop sleeve on park bench."
We will choose a winner at random from among users who make one or more blog entries on Bitmob between the contest start date, January 1, 2010, and the contest end date, February 28, 2010, with the following caveats:
- Multiple posts will count as multiple entries
- We will not count any posts we consider, at our sole discretion, to be spam or spam-like -- only substantial (doesn't mean "long") posts only
- Best of 2009 entries count!
We will announce the winner on March 5, 2010. You must be registered on Bitmob with your full name and a valid email address to be eligible. Bitmob staffers and their families may not win. Void where prohibited, free shipping to continental U.S. residents only, sorry! Non-U.S. residents will need to cover shipping/handling/insurance via paypal.

If I weren't on staff, I'm sure I'd be able to find use for a second netbook.
Good luck, everyone!
And I'm on. . .top of it--or whatever. Just gimmie the damn thing!
