FEATURED POST
After spending a lot of time with Cipher Prime's Pulse on the iPad, it proves that rhythm games and the Apple Tablet are on the same sheet of music.

While other people are busy trying to get to the end of games, I'm stuck hopelessly addicted to the mini-games and derailed from the main storyline.
A How-To guide for establishing a video game website compiled utilizing knowledge gained over the past several years. It has been designed from the ground up to walk prospective site owners through the process.
Despite the many games that have been released in the First-Person Shooter genre, they have always seemed very similar. That is, until a major evolutionary step occurs.

What happens when a game's narrative makes the player do something he doesn't want to do?
Video game characters come and go, but for those born as Nintendo released the NES, Mario has remained a constant presence, persistent across the years.
The story of finally beating the original Zelda without FAQs or guides more than 10 years after first playing it.

"As lame as it'll sound. My big brother and I used to play TIE Fighter co-op on the PC. He took care of all the keyboard commands like issuing orders to wingmates and balancing power between engines, weapons and shields, while I would take care of shooting the crap out of whatever the objective happened to be with the gamepad. Looking back, it seems a bit humdrum, but it was probably the happiest times him and I had in front of a computer together. "

"Every time someone join Bitmob:

-Hideo Kojima contemplates quitting work on the Metal Gear Series.

-Marcus Fenix reloads.

-A Pokémon attack is super effective.

-The Lich King drops some epic loot for a group of weary adventurers.

-a controller is detroyed after yet another indiscriminate death in Super Meat Boy

-Sephiroth kills Aerith

-a pair of eyes hurt from using a 3DS on the highest setting for way too long.

-GLaDOS reminds Chell how much mass she seems to have gained since the last battery of tests.

-Fox News publishes a poorly-researched story about how video games are destroying the youth of this generation.

and last, but not least.

-the Playstation Network goes down as the result of the planets briefly aligning."

"I'm really excited about this now, primarly because a lot of multiplayer has gone downhill since the traditional CTF and Deathmatch have become many a developers modus operandi. But this looks original and I'm all for anything that encourages cooperation in a game."

"I went ahead told everyone via Twitter and Facebook about this: http://www.bitmob.com/articles/puzzler-movie-poster-mashups - more or less because it's pretty freakin' awesome. :)"

"Yes. It bothered me. But I'm guessing it's because I grew up with a home life that saw it's fair share of domestic disturbances.

I'm not saying it's a perfect example, but I'm asking that you can see where I'm coming from with this. Deep down, yeah, I got over it and continued playing what is, at it's heart, an excellent game. But this doubtlessly caused something enough to bug me that I felt it warranted the piece or I wouldn't have written it in the first place.

Not trying to blow things out of proportion, not trying to advertise a screwed up childhood, just addressing the concern that in this brief solitary instance, a game bothered me. That's all.

To everyone, thank you very much for the feedback and constructive criticism. It's the only way anyone ever grows and evolves as a writer and I sincerely appreciate everyone at Bitmob who glanced at this.  "

"I was one of the migrations over from 1up, but since then I've begun contributing to a lot of different places. Because of my strained schedule between my full-time job and writing, I usually only contribute to the community shout-outs like the FAQ article and my latest Mario piece.

Personally, I really dig Bitmob because I genuinely look forward to those community articles. :)"

"I always thought that the save mechanic in Eternal Darkness was incredibly well done - especially when the game would mess with the player and instead of a "save" prompt, it would show a "delete" prompt in an attempt to convince the user that the entire memory card had been erased. "

"ttempted to include screenshots as well as utilize a video from youtube and for reasons unknown Google Chrome or the MyBlog interface wouldn't let them fly. I enjoyed the original Eat Lead, primarily because it was a game that was self-aware of itself and was comfortable to make fun of that. But, this just didn't strike me in the same way or came off as attempting to do so in a very lackluster way. If anything, I think my love of the first title eclipsed Blood Bath and Beyond so much so that I could only be disappointed by what I was of"
