Eternal Sonata played a quiet concert at the time of it's initial release. Several years since, it's time to give the game another look and see if it has the melody to compete with the big RPGs or if it should just play in the background.

Given a little more time to reflect on the subject after a year since the game's release, it's time to dive into the demon infested Boleteria once again and see if this game was really worth all the blood, sweat, and overflowing tears.
A game forgotten by many, Web of Shadows received mediocre reviews at its time of release. Was it as bad as many said? Or was there some merit to this title? Lets take a look at the good, bad, and horrific about this title and decide if it deserves a little more attention.

As a Spider-Man fan and in the spirit of the new release, I have some thoughts on the web-slinger and his video games over the years. Do you agree? Are there some favorites of yours that deserve more recognition? Where has our hero strayed from good games? See for yourself and share your thoughts.

Brütal Legend was a game that had high expectations but was not so well received initially. After the overwhelming disdain/disappointment of this game died down, I dove into the heavy metal world to see if was truly as bad as I had heard. Were the reviews accurate? Or were they too brutal? (Sorry for the bad pun)

Just a brief memo of appreciation.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was by far one of the best games ever made to star the Dark Knight. A year after its release, does that statement still hold up? Or were we so desperate for a good Batman game that this one got better treatment than it deserved?

A unique game to say the least, but is that enough to make Heavy Rain worth your while? Or does its similarities with cinema prevent it from being a truly fun video game?

The last of the fighting reviews of releases last year, King of Fighters XII was a disappointment to say the least. If you want to prepare yourself for XIII take a look at this review and you'll see why you shouldn't count on this installment to be much help.

Tekken 6 was the last of the major fighting franchises to release a game for the home consoles last year. Despite a few questionable flaws to the design of this Tekken entry, it is still a strong release if you're willing to put in the effort.

A high definition 2-D fighter that slipped under the radar last year, Blazblue: Calamity Trigger is a must play for fighting enthusiasts. But is it for everyone? Or should you spend more time playing Street Fighter?

Street Fighter IV's release last year caught the attention of many who had forgotten about the fighting genre. It has received critical appraise as the best fighting game last year and has a subsequent new rendition due at the end of April. But after a year in circulation, is SFIV all that good or should you be cautious about its super sequel?

God of War III brings about the finale to Sony's epic Greek saga. The series definitely goes out in a brutal yet refined fashion. But does that make it the best?

That was what was so interesting about the gameplay. In the beginning, you could choose a class, but in the end use a strategy that was completely different. And though the bosses often only needed one hit to kill you, just meant you needed to get a Flawless Victory on them. My preference was a mage character with light armor for ease in rolling and using a crescent sword to boost my spells and cause magical damage. But I still got the lava bow just in case I wanted to take it easy.

Definitely looking forward most to Fallout: New Vegas and Costume Quest. Just found out about CQ yesterday and am already counting the days. As for Fallout, I've been torn deciding whether I just go back to Fallout 3 and prepare or if I want to go more old-school with Oblivian. Okay, not old-school, more like junior college.

@Chris: You make some good points. I'd be curious to read your last hurrah regardless of my own opinions about the game. Thanks for the comment!
