The newest game from the creators of Flower blows up on the Playstation Store and promises an upcoming soundtrack release.
Shadows of the Damned has likely already been forgotten by most gamers who had a mild interest in it. It never seemed to outshine its competition and the marketing didn't push it enough. Yet there is still plenty to be said about this game that has garnered something of a cult following.

Eternal Sonata played a quiet concert at the time of it's initial release. Several years since, it's time to give the game another look and see if it has the melody to compete with the big RPGs or if it should just play in the background.

"I completely agree. The Guitar Hero games have already been on life support for a while, so it was no surprise Activision finally pulled the plug. Unfortunately the oversaturation GH caused in the genre ruined business for other games like Rock Band, while their Tony Hawk franchise continues to die without much effect on skateboarding titles. Call of Duty's inevitable death will perhaps be a little less destructive to the industry and hopefully show how it's not just Madden that can become truly stale.
Great Commentary!"

"Glad to hear the review was helpful!

@ Marko: In response to the question. In the initial release of the game SVER was the most popular. Since the release of mulitple profiles on PSN, the teams have balanced out more. But it seems like the one that has received the lease amount of popularity is the Valor group, which is the one I play in. So I get to wait a lot."

"That was what was so interesting about the gameplay. In the beginning, you could choose a class, but in the end use a strategy that was completely different. And though the bosses often only needed one hit to kill you, just meant you needed to get a Flawless Victory on them. My preference was a mage character with light armor for ease in rolling and using a crescent sword to boost my spells and cause magical damage. But I still got the lava bow just in case I wanted to take it easy."

"Definitely looking forward most to Fallout: New Vegas and Costume Quest. Just found out about CQ yesterday and am already counting the days. As for Fallout, I've been torn deciding whether I just go back to Fallout 3 and prepare or if I want to go more old-school with Oblivian. Okay, not old-school, more like junior college."

"@Chris: You make some good points. I'd be curious to read your last hurrah regardless of my own opinions about the game. Thanks for the comment!"
