One of the best and most unique fighting games to ever grace the PS2, Arcana Heart, has seen several sequels. However neither 2 nor 3 have seen a US release so far. Fortunately the publisher, Aksys Games, has announced to make Arcana Heart 3 available in the United States on PSN this Spring.
Pacifica fighting game enthusiast Mike G responded, “I’d been waiting for 2 to come out forever so I’m a little disappointed that the only way to get it is with a Japanese console, but I’m down with just getting the newest one…that’s hopefully more balanced. I just hope that the appeal for this one lasts a little bit longer than Battle Fantasia did. No one seemed available online in my area for that game so I’m a little concerned.”
The game will feature 23 characters with 23 different Arcana types to use. If you are unfamiliar with the series, the Arcana were like a second set of move lists for characters depending on what you picked. This made the combos customizable to a certain extent with dozens of different combinations for special moves and abilities. And to make sure the game plays smoothly, Arc System works, the developers of Blazblue, helped develop the game and its online mode. In the Aksys announcement, it sounded like Blazblue’s format was to be the template for the game’s online mode. So, are you finally ready to fight as scantily clad anime girls with godly powers on your PS3? For the official announcement, click here: http://www.aksysgames.com/2011/02/14/ar ... h-america/
