"I'd like to get something like this, but I can't decide what character I would spend that much money to get a figure of. I'm also super miserly so that doesn't help. "

"How is releasing Halo 4 on election day any different from releasing a game on any other day? Many movies, books, and albums were also released today to no outrage, and a lot of people who you wouldn't consider to be the core gamer demographic play Halo. You could say that Halo represents video games in the public mind more than something like Valkaria Chronicles (which was released Election Day 2008 along with other titles), but the people who would say gamers are stupid because of this would have found something else about them to complain about."

"Nice review. I'm a moderator on this site and took some time to make sure the video appears and to fix some formatting issues since it was appearing in a different text that what we usually use. I'm not sure what's wrong with the image on the top since it isn't appearing properly. I would check and make sure you have the URL inserted correctly."

"The only thing it needs for it to be competitve is for people to want to play it that way. The big difference between this and Smash is that the developers actually want that to happen and has Sony's resources for patch support in case things do need to be tweaked, as well as for promotions."

"Tekken starred Ling Xiaoyu and Alisa - the cute girls of the series - and a generic mysterious pretty boy who is ultimately completely pointless except to get the series' actual main characters to fight each other. Long stretches of it are meandering high-school melodrama, very few characters from the games actually appear, the humor is painfully unfunny, and the final fight begins fairly well but devolves into over-the-top nonsense. The only good thing about it was a post-movie interview where the game's producer seemed passive aggressive in questioning the movie's director, who actually was one of the people behind Cowboy Bebop. I went to a special showing at a local theater, and that was the worst movie-going experience I had in recent memory."

"At least it sounds like it were in the spirit of some version of the series. It couldn't be as bad as Tekken: Blood Vengance."

"I've only played the 4-character demo at BestBuy briefly so take my opinion with a grain of salt as well. It did feel like Kratos was more "obviously good" than the other characters, but at a beta stage it would be hard to tell if he was good because he's top tier or if he's good because he's the easiest to win with at a basic level like MVC3 Sentinel or Street Fighter X Tekken Hugo. In Smash Bros. terms I guess the equivalent would be Wolf in Brawl, who was strong early in the game's lifespan but dropped in rankings later on. I know the game was designed with advanced play in mind, but since I don't own a PS3 I haven't really kept track of the game."

"I haven't played Tomb Raider, but I think that was a case where switching developers benefited the franchise as a whole. I know the current producer was the one who originally created the franchise though, so I don't know if that counts."
