Dead Rising 2 is a fun game with a bit of a personality disorder.

Due to space restrictions with my carry on bags I am debating on leaving my PSP and DS at home in lue of my iPod touch and going 'casual only' on some upcoming trips.
Crackdown's sequel may be a lot of 'been there, done that' but it still manages to be fun.
Red Dead Redemption - a game that started with a fizzle but ended in a bang. My take on this wild western

As an 'Armor-Lockee' I've got some mixed feelings on the perk. I like using it to shield myself from incoming grenades when caught out in the open (REJECTION) as well as the stop and pop, one-two, armor lock fakeout punch (go into armor lock for a second and then immediate into melee). In those instances I have found the perk to be extremely effective in prolonging my death just that much more.

There are the other times I use the perk, which I am not to proud of - and those are the 'turtle and wait for help' moments. Here is where I can see your frustration come in. You chip away at my shields only to have me duck & cover under my temporary invulnerability.

Like you said, most tactics have a counter but in the face paced frenzy of team slayer, armor lock is a difficult one to cope with. Sure, a well timed sticky will do the trick - but that all hinges on your ability to remain in the vicinity for a crucial few more seconds. If the cavalcade arrives while your waiting, it can be game over.

Thanks Brett, that is an original shot - I try to use only original photos for my posts. Luckily, Sackboy & Red Knight are always up for posing :)

Wow, Happy Birthday PSPgo. I enjoyed your post. As a big PSP supporter, I have toyed on and off with picking up a PSPgo. Hell, I'm still trucking around with my PSP1000 which I picked up at launch. Most games I buy for my PSP I buy from PSN, so I am a perfict candidate for the PSPgo, but I could never jusitfy the price. Not that I think $250 is outlandish for a gadget, but for someone who already owns a PSP it just didn't make sense. Even trading my current PSP in wouldn't take enough bit out of that price tag for me to feel it was worthwhile.

I've been tracking the price of the PSPgo just waiting for a good sale to jump in on but still have never found the motivation to pull the trigger. Now with the rumors of the PSP2 launching next year, and the 3DS looming (I am a big portable gamer) I might just pass on the Go all together.

Still, I applaud you for speaking out on the subject. I think the PSPgo is a swank system, but unfortunately it has one helluva stigma attahed to it. I wonder if we'll start to see some price cuts now that the system has reached it's first milestone.
