"I think you may be forgetting how bad COD4's martydom was or the Frag X3. Those were pretty terrible perks and they never really got fixed. I admit though that Modern Warfare 2 was much worse with the noob tubes and such. To my knowledge though Call of Duty has never been a very community supportive franchise up until Black Ops. Correct me if I am wrong but when did they fix the COD 2 snipers? Or as mentioned above FragX3, martydom, and on top of that the M16 and the MP5. I agree that if Modern Warfare 3 has as much support as Black Ops then it has a high chance of being the best COD.

Good article. =)  "

"I think that both games have their place. If I want adventuring I play Terraria. If I want to build stuff its Minecraft. Simple as that. This may change when the adventure update comes out for Minecraft but I doubt that it will just stop the adventuring in Terraria. Great article! "

"Yes Steam Summer Sale eats everyones wallet. I as well have fallen pray to many a deal, and I have spent way to much cash on video games. At least I will be entertained like you as we slowly starve. :D"

"I agree completely that games need to have a seperate art style and not just go for the straight up most realist looking game. I think those games still have a place but we need more creative games. Great article!"

"Obviously you are very set in your view points and I can see where you are coming from. What I meant to get across with the article was that game developers need to start concering themselves with making a great game, and they should be less worried about what people think. Take Six Days in Fallujah for example. That game got cancelled just because of the media. "

"I think something else that could have played into the fact that the other parts of the game were not as good was because of all the time they spent on the facial capture. The faces look amazing in that game, by far the best around, but the rest of the game suffers. As you said it seems like some of the mechanics they added in were second thought or they added them just because they 'have' to. "

"Wow what a amazing story. Its amazing that your family had such an experince over a videogame. Some people have it with a weekly Tv show or maybe a board game, but your family had Zelda. Makes me wish my parents were more into videogames. Great job! =)"

"I am not sure why you are so angry at Heavy Rain. It was a nice little experiment in gaming and sure it wasn't that great of a game, but it was something different. Personally I think Indigo Prophecy is a much better game, and Heavy Rain pretty much set out to be a similar game. As for videogames being art, its just that people, me included, want the things that we do to be recognized for more than just 'stupid video games'. The hole ruling is just a way to shut people up, and to allow videogames to move on. "

"I never really went to arcades before and the couple of times I did I never really got that exciting moment where someone was about to break the highscore. Maybe I just didn't go enough, but I find playing games or watching while my brother plays has just as many "Holy crap how did you survive that?" moments. So long arcades. "

"I am glad that video games are now an art form. This is just the being step to even better video game stories, and experinces that we have with them. I can't wait for the day where you can have an equally changing experince from a video games as you can from a book. Mind you they are completely different art forms but I think that one day video games can have just as big of an effect on people. "
