Quick! You've spawned in a strange, blocky world. It's midday and your travel brochure told you that monsters roam around at nightfall. How should you spend your time here in Minecraft?

Monday Night Combat is a remarkably polished game for only $15 and developed by a 16 man team. The attention to character balance and detail incredible.

Street Fighter may get all the girls with it's pedigree but Blazblue is great for the adventurous looking for something new from the developers who brought us Guilty Gear.

With Continuum Shift only two weeks away, lets take a look at a few characters from Blazblue to help decide who you should play. This time is Jin Kisaragi, my personal main.

Anime and games go together like peanut butter and jelly. And while at Anime Expo 2010 in Los Angeles, I managed to get some hands on time with Blazblue: Continuum Shift.

Wrex has a lot of things going for him. He has allies. He has enemies. His civilization becomes closer to extinction every day. He's got it rough, but nothing like some dark humor to shake it off.

In a follow to a previous article on Street Fighter's Rufus, I explore why you should play Seth if you really want to troll SSFIV's online lobbies.

We're all adults who can tell the difference between reality and fantasy. I'm not going to go out and murder someone after letting my version of John Marston go on a bullet spree in Armadillo. And yet something very real may have gripped me: gambling, courtesy of Red Dead Redemption.

Last year we got a holy trinity of fighting games to revive the genre: Street Fighter and Blazblue. Oh, I'm sorry, there was also King of Fighters. But seriously, KOFXIII looks like it wants to correct it's past mistakes on XII. But will it?

First there was Link. Then there was Gordon Freeman. Seemingly rising out of the primordial ooze of characters who don't talk is the talking character who doesn't really say anything: John Marston.

A long line, maybe a dynasty of bad video game movies has finally been broken. Now, I didn't say to raise your expectations, but the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time film is a step in the right direction, at least from the a gamer's perspective.

A world spanning across the classic western wastelands, the great plains, and of course Mexico, you play John Marston as he hunts down his old posse. Or maybe he hunts down bears. Other times he hunts for trouble. Point is, there's A LOT of stuff to do in Red Dead Redemption.

Lost Planet 2 certainly has its fair share of problems. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. You just need to kick back, grab a rocket launcher, and tackle the campaign with 3 other people. Preferably with rocket launchers as well.

Fighting games always hinge on their characters. And players sometimes need to justify their choice in the face of popular majority. Rufus unfortunately also suffers from being a particularly ugly character design, but that doesn't stop the faithful, like me, from playing him.

Final Fantasy 13 and Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver may seem like an unlikely pairing, but with their release dates so close and the state of Japanese role-playing games in upset, maybe they do beg comparison.

One is a new player from NorCal, loving the SoCal scene and interested in a new challenge. The other is an established name in the Blazblue community. Both participate in the first ranked battle I've ever covered at Arcade Infinity, one of the most hardcore arcades I've ever been to.
