"Ah, but you didn't mention Kirby 64's most unique feature: mixing copy abilities. I'm always surprised that none of the other Kirby games have adopted the feature; everyone I know who played 64 had a blast mixing all of the different abilities. Explosive shurikens were the best!"

"My friends and I regularly just use the Tony Hawk soundtracks as playlists while playing other multiplayer games, great stuff. Luckily none of us carry that dreaded hardcore "more punk-rawk than thou" attitude, so we're all free to enjoy our favorite radio-friendly (pop?) punk tunes :)"

"I know that feel, bro. Halo 2, man...those were the days. Never will I have more fun with a multiplayer game with a group of buddies by my side. Come to think of it though, the last truly great local multiplayer game for us was Rock Band back when it was still popular. I never cared for playing Guitar Hero by myself all that much, but hell if playing fake music with a group of four people wasn't something special. Great soundtracks, too. Now all of my buddies are at different universities so we don't really get to have those experiences anymore except occasionally during the summer...ah well."

"I'll point out that in Mass Effect, the story always ends with Saren being defeated, regardless of what choices you made. In Mass Effect 2, the canon ending always has the Collectors being defeated, again, regardless of your choices. Mass Effect 3 finishes with the Reaper threat either being destroyed or otherwise ended...regardless of your choices. Therefore, I disagree with those who claim the ending doesn't reflect your decisions well enough - the first two games resolved their conflicts in a broad sense regardless of your smaller deviations along the way, as does the third game. As for perceived "plot holes," you can find any number of inconsistencies in the first two games, or in any story for that matter. The ending is what it is, like I said I'm glad we're getting an extended cut at all."

"Good one. The best example I can think of is the Metal Gear series. I like the games a lot, but I find the gameplay to be fairly clunky, slow, often repetitive, and anti-climactic. I'd say without the crazy amount of style, the story, and high production values I wouldn't want to play them as much. Amnesia is another one; it's a bit of a chore playing that game even though I love the atmosphere and style. "

"THANK YOU SO MUCH. 

I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect, and I actually enjoyed the balls-to-the-wall ending. I could've used more closure, yes, and the Normandy scene still doesn't really make sense to me, but overall I was satisfied. I completely agree with you on your "army of gods" point - realistically we should be astounded that Shepard, one tiny, insignificant human being, was able to defeat a race of 37 million year old machines at ALL. Hell, half of it was blind luck; nobody knew what the Crucible would do when fired. In my mind, Shepard did what he came to do, which was to stop the Reapers by any means necessary. It's sad that such a huge toll was taken on Shepard and his crew personally, but they're just a handful of individuals. He just saved an entire GALAXY of people and allowed life and evolution to continue freely for the first time in millions of years. That's a pretty damn big thing.

"Majora's Mask...ugh. What an unpleasant game. The Deku swamps are what immediately come to mind for me, the red/purple color scheme and effed-up music literally make me feel sick to my stomach. I also remember the canyon area with all of the undead enemies freaking me out. I completely respect Majora's Mask and think the story and tone are incredible, but it's not something I would willingly play through again. Probably the most unsettling game I've ever played. "

"Whenever people bring up the "Drake is a sociopath" argument, I tell them to try playing Uncharted without shooting back at the people trying to murder them. See how far you make it and get back to me! He doesn't have to be murderer if you don't want him to, folks! We also have to remember that Drake is essentially a mercenary, just like the guys trying to kill him. He was never supposed to be a saint.
