Comics Zone: Deserted Island

Editor's note: Earlier this month, Chris challenged the Bitmob community to create their own webcomic. He's extended his deadline in hopes of getting a few more entries, so get off your bum and show the world that you're the next Gabe and Tycho, rolled into one. If you need some inspiration, check out the latest work from Chris: Deserted Island. I'm always amazed at how creative our community is. - Aaron

Welcome to Deserted Island, the long-overdue sample for the Comics Zone writing challenge. All this month I've asked Bitmobbers to express what they usually do in words with pictures and panels. This example is much longer than I expect other submissions to be, but hopefully it will show what can be done with the format.

Since this sample is late, I'm extending the deadline to September 5th. You can read the rules and find a low-budget way of creating these pieces here.

The drawings on the third/fourth page are too vague. Couldn't see what was going on. Rest is ok.

Thanks for the criticism. By third/fourth page did you mean the pages 3/4 out of the 10 panels altogether or pages 3/4 of the 4 pages I divided it into on Bitmob?

@Chris The drawings are good.

This is my favorite writing prompt by far. Great work, Chris!

Thanks for the prompt praise, Mike. To be honest I was halfway through drawing the comic when I saw your video on Mafia 2, and I became afraid that I unintentionally drew the guy to look like you and that you would take it the wrong way. It was too late to change it though.
