i think Fable lets you switch gender mid game or something like that .... Torchlight lets you switch your companion from a dog to cat and vice versa in game ...
I actually did switch my Fable character to a girl...then immediately regretted it.
Girl Kratos is pretty badass.
Male Samus looks good, but as mentioned it's hardly surprising.
Female Link looks great, but we kind of already knew that thanks to the cross-dressing cosplay community :D
When looking at cos-play photos, it's common for girls to dress up as Link.

There are already female Spartans in Halo, actually.
But the female spartans use exactly the same armor, except Dare in ODST. I get Edgar's point, big breasted energy suits would be at the very least interesting.

Where "people" means straight dudes, I suppose. Although, I can't say I'd try and beat Metroid in 2 hours to see pixelated man-flesh; I'd try and beat Metroid in 2 hours to beat Metroid in 2 hours.
