Help Us Choose the Next Bitmob Game Club Title

With the amazing turnout for the Rez HD Game Club, we've decided to give the Twitter-integrated format another go, this time with more community input than ever. Not only can you follow and interact with the upcoming Game Club, but now you also have a say in what we play!

All you have to do is fill out the brief survey below. We will update this post when we have a winner or an overwhelming leader.

Be kind and only choose the game you really want us to play and discuss. If you really can't make up your mind, the survey does support multiple answers.

Rats! I was hoping for a RPG. Oh, well. I vote for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

@Jason There's always next time!

Done, and done.

I could partake in all but one of them.

@Jason There should be a separate thing just for RPGs, if only because they take way longer than normal games

@Jeremy Pitch me!

@Jason @Jeremy It wouldn't be that difficult to do the same thing with the Game Club. It would just require more time than the week we're currently working with. We can run special RPG game clubs. I'd rather do longer games anyway.

@Jason @Jasmine Well a month strikes me as a proper amount of time to have people playing an RPG to completion. I'm not sure that the new Twitter format would properly convey RPG experiences given how much is going on at a given time, though Twitter comments should definitely still happen. The SMT: Imagine one you guys did a while ago looked like a good way to go about it, but that made it not as inclusive. I think that, in addition to summaries from a few constant people and Twitter comments, community participants could submit weekly updates in article form to the Mobfeed sort of like a Game Diary structurally with links in the main weekly post. And, of course, there's more organic discussion in the comments section too.

Since RPGs present many options and routes, participants could agree to do things differently from each other. They could take events in a different order or build parties in different ways. This won't always be possible, but when it is, it could allow for different angles and approaches to be seen at once. And then, of course, there could be discussion questions. Or it could just be left open to whatever people want to discuss.

These are just random ideas based on what I've observed motivates people in these types of events. But I think the idea has a lot of potential.
