You probably don’t know this about me, but I’m a pretty fashionable guy. I’ve already moved on from plaid to the next big thing: Leopard print for men. Mrrow! That was a cat noise.

Disney is looking to take a 100-percent stake in Deadly Premonition publisher UTV Ignition. Disney already owns a majority of the India-based entertainment empire which -- in addition to its video-game division -- produces content for television, radio, and film. Now, word has it that the house of Mickey is interested in taking complete control of UTV. At first glance, this isn’t exactly a match made in heaven…unless that heaven is the one depicted in the upcoming Ignition game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. [1UP]
Capcom originally planned to release Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 as a downloadable add-on. Then, instead of doing that, I’m guessing an accountant ran into the room and hit a big red button labeled “stop all reason.” Now, the game is coming as a retail package for a reduced price which will get its own DLC in the future. That means that fans who already own MVC3 will be forced to purchase this new game if they wish to remain completely up to date. Capcom did this with Super Street Fighter IV, and people -- for the most part -- let it slide. Chances are the same thing will happen here, and that is why Capcom is willing to do it. [G4TV]
ESPN on Xbox Live will get an update in time for football. FOOTBALL! The ESPN app on Xbox Live is a pretty interesting concept, but it doesn’t work with my cable provider; so I’m stuck using it as a SportsCenter buffet. For those of you who regularly use the sporting application, these new features could make this the premiere way to absorb hours of NCAA football into your eyeballs. The biggest addition seems to be “Split Screen” which allows fans to watch two different events at the same time. Personalization is also a big aspect of this update. Good and decent people will be able to select the Michigan Wolverines as their favorite team, and the app will feed news and highlights based on that selection. I guess you could do the same with other teams and sports, but I’d hesitate to select the Buckeyes…that will probably cause a red ring or something.
