Bitmob Mailbag

It's back!

Well, kinda. See, we love hearing from you, the Bitmob community members. Without you, there would be no Bitmob. And who wants to live in that kind of world? Nobody, that's who.

We've done a few things recently to let you sound off (in addition to promoting the excellent articles you produce on a daily basis). We took your phone calls for our 100th episode Mobcast extravaganza. We're hosting tonight's Bitmob Game Night (come join us!), featuring the Gears of War 3 beta, and we gave you some free codes to get in.

But all that isn't good enough for us. Nope, we want you guys to give us even more feedback, pester us with even more questions, and just generally take the power back. That's why we're re-introducing the Bitmob Mailbag, a long-running feature that, well, we haven't run in a while.

So here's the deal: Write to us. Got a question for one of the editors? A certain aspect of gaming you want to discuss? A query about the inner workings of how we run the site? Ask away.

You'll want to send your emails to letters@bitmob.com, with "Mailbag" in the subject line, and we'll take it from there. Try to keep them brief -- it's harder to publish a long essay in mailbag form. (And besides, if you have that much to say, why not make it a full article for us to promote on the front page?)

You'll see a full Mailbag column in a week or two, depending on how many responses we get. So get to writing! And if emails aren't your thing, we've got some other community challenges going, too. Check after the break for a couple of reminders....

Bitmob Wants You: To write about Portal 2

You've got until May 3 to give us your take on Portal 2. What do you like about the game? How does it compare to its predecessor? What's the deal with that Cave Johnson guy? How does the gameplay experience change in the co-op (assuming you aren't playing on PS3)? Tell us...or the Companion Cube gets it.

April Bitmob Writing Challenge: Humor Me

Community writer Jeremy Signor is behind this month's Writing Challenge, which is simple: Write a humorous gaming article. Check the link for a few more guidelines, but be quick about it -- April's almost over, and Jeremy will be compiling the entries soon. So make 'em laugh, kids.
