Every time I see a new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I can’t help but wonder what kind of obstacles would arise from having mechanical arms. Imagine trying to scratch yourself with those things; you’d have to be very, very careful. Am I right?
Video Blips:
• In typical cyberpunk fashion, Deus Ex: Human Revolution features enough conspiracy to make Philip K. Dick blush. I’d like to think the world won’t be as complicated as these guys assume, but who am I to argue? They know the freakin’ future, man.
Continue after the break for a look at Fallout: New Vegas -- Old World Blues, a gander at Dragon Age 2 -- Legacy, and a glimpse of The King of Fighters 13.
• Just when you thought Fallout’s alternate universe couldn’t get any zanier, Fallout: New Vegas -- Old World Blues comes along. I can’t say I’ve ever been on a quest to find my own brain...except maybe that one time in Tijuana. Or was that my kidney?
• The world of Thedas in Dragon Age 2 seems to have a hefty supply of folks who are really, really evil. So, in other words, it’s a lot like Austin, Texas...except with magic and smaller breasts.
• The King of Fighters 13 tells 3D graphics to piss off; it’s doing just fine as a 2D game. I’m not a fan of fighting games, but I’ve always admired the talent and effort behind sprite animation. I’m pretty sure it’s a job up there with Alaskan king crab fishing and coal mining.
