Even though Valentine's Day is about romance, that doesn't mean we can't still talk about violent video games.

Video Blips:

• Make sure you spend some good quality time with your significant other today, because chances are you won't see them much after the Halo: Reach Defiant map pack comes out in March.

Continue after the break to see how Mortal Kombat's Liu Kang celebrates February 14, Monday Night Combat's smooth groove, and some killing tips from Bulletstorm Design Director Cliff Bleszinski.

• Poor Shang Tsung. He just wanted to wish Liu Kang a happy Valentine's Day with a friendly game of Mortal Kombat, but he ended up with a broken heart instead. Well, it's more of a ripped-out heart, but you get the idea.

• Monday Night Combat wants to slow things down a bit with a little old-school R&B. That's the part I understand. Can anyone clue me in as to who the hell that purple and red creature is?

• Forget Cliff Bleszinski's tips on how to better kill your enemies in Bulletstorm -- I'm more curious about his homemade flamethrower. Who or what exactly is he trying to torch? And why?

Maps aren't going to make me play Firefight, but more achievements will. That trailer was hilariously epic, though. I mean, it's cool news but it's just a map pack.

On Monday Night Combat, that's the mascot of the game, Bullseye.

I didn't know he could sing. Sort of. Lol.
