• This trailer for The King of Fighters 13 is all about the combos. I always feel bad for the characters in these videos who can't fight back. Sometimes I imagine Joe Higashi sitting in the locker room afterwards, clutching an envelope of dive money and crying into a mirror. Then he eats an entire thing of Chunky Monkey ice cream.

After the break: Risen 2: Dark Waters has some pirates, Dragon Nest has a new chapter, and Mario and Sonic have dinner in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics.

• In Part One of "The Making of Risen 2: Dark Waters," the developers walk you through their creative process with a bunch of visual aids. Who wants to bet on how many of them are sporting eyepatches by the end of the series?

• "Theater of War" is the latest addition to Dragon Nest. Don't even ask how much popcorn costs at the Theater of War. That's how all this fighting started.
