Fan Dedication Strikes Again: Snatcher On the DS

The fastest way to get a company to ignore any remakes or re-releases of an old product is to constantly fan translate and port it (at least that seems to be the case with Nintendo and the Mother series).

So how will Konami react to this homebrew DS port of Hideo Kojima's Snatcher? Well, a DS port of a Snatcher demo, that is [via Multiple: Option]:

We want a new version of Snatcher and all, but why don't you geeky tech-types get to work on a DS version of Policenauts? Get back to us when you've tackled it. Or you could get on this, Konami, and save us all the legal hassle....

I wonder if some homebrew ports are actually made by people connected to the original license. It would be a great way of determining the popularity of the game before they put the money into remaking it for real.

i want that 3D remake of Chrono Trigger. Remember that from a few years ago? google it if not. It was beautiful. Square needs to do that asap. enough Final Fantasy remakes!
