New York City gets all the cool gaming events these days.....

Case in point: Over the weekend Nintendo set up a live-action Super Mario 3D Land level in Times Square [via Technabob]:

The interactive level even had enemies to jump on. I hope they were just foam monsters and not people in Goomba suits. I'd hate to be the kid that gets the short straw in that deal.
