Massive NES collection up for grabs on eBay

I wish I took better care of all my old Nintendo Entertainment System games. The years have scattered those grey cartridges around numerous boxes and storage bins. I doubt I'll ever see most of them again.

I assume that I'm not the only person who wishes for a way to regain an awesome NES collection. Luckily, this is why we have eBay, where someone is currently selling a massive set of 947 NES games. This includes every title released in America -- minus Myriad 6 in 1 and Nintendo World Championships -- as well as a large amount of PAL-territory exclusives.

The asking price for this abundance of nostalgia is $75,000. That's a bit out of my price range, but maybe someone has a pile of money they're looking to rid themselves of.

I can get all of my comics basically for free now, scanned into digital files on the computer. I still buy some comics, though, because I love having that paper in my hand. $75k is insane but I could understand if you are a collector you might want to have that big bookshelf full of games as a charm to ward off any potential advances by the opposite sex.

On the other hand, you could take 20 minutes tonight and download an emulator for your PC along with every game released by Nintendo for the NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube in every country in the world. Takes about 15-20 minutes to download...

I want it, but 75k is way too much.  Which makes me wonder. What happened to EGM's game collection?

Probably sold to FuncoLand.

The winner would need $75+ K as well as another room to store the collection.
