Title Fight is PlayStation 3's own Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
Title Fight

There's an upcoming fighting game for PlayStation 3 that is the system's own version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and it's called "Title Fight”.

To me, Title Fight seems like it could be confused as a “title” for a boxing game, whereas PlayStation Title Fight has that ring to it that lets people know, “this game is only on PlayStation 3, because it uses the Sony branded characters”. That’s just my opinion though, but as for now, Title Fight is what the game is being called and is in the current build.  All might change in time, but for now, at least the following gameplay details and other information exists:

Visuals:
- Graphics at this point are similar to Brawl, but with higher polygon models and displayed in high resolution.
- Characters look like themselves. Kratos is as you remember him in God of War 3, Parappa is completely 2D, Fat Princess looks like her real self, Nathan Drake is similar to the build in Uncharted 3, Sly Cooper is cel-shaded (a bit like Toon Link), and so on.
- The characters don’t look out of place alongside each other at all. And in fact, it’s really neat in that Smash Bros. kinda way to finally see everyone on screen, together at once.
- Characters have a glowing ring around them while moving around, to help the user identify where they’re at.
- Only HUD elements are your super bar and character icons.
- A lot of the art/menus, right down to the design of the game’s name are still in what I call “placeholder mode”.

Controls:
- Use the left analog stick to move your character.
- Triangle, X, Square, and Circle are used to jump and attack.
- R2 shoulder button is used for pulling off “supers”.
- Use your recovery move to get back on stage if knocked off.
- Moves are pulled off more similarly to Super Smash Bros. and not Street Fighter.
- Characters have the ability of double jumping.

Characters:

Colonel Mael Radec in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Colonel Mael Radec is a playable character. Radec primarily uses guns in combat.

Kratos in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Kratos will make people who like Pit from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, happy to play with. Kratos’ primary attacks are his chains. He also has a charge attack with his spear and shield that’s powerful, yet rather unwieldly. Kratos has a Level 1 bar attack where he plunges his chain into the ground and sparks fly. Kratos’ Level 3 super is him turning into his giant, armored super-self and using his huge sword that’s a 1-hit kill. His recovery move are his wings.

Parappa the Rappa in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Parappa seems to have his original voice actor behind him. He yells out some of his popular phrases during battle. He kicks, has a boom box attack, and uses a skateboard as well. His Level 3 super involves him shouting, “I gotta believe” a few times which damages opponents to the point of dying. He also talks while re-spawning.

Nathan Drake in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Nathan Drake’s moves involve him punching up close, but for most of his attacks, he’s an all-range fighter: he uses a pistol, grenade, and rifle. He’ll probably be the character that most resembles Solid Snake from Brawl. His Level 1 bar attack is him pushing over a statue onto his opponents. His Level 3 super is turning enveryone into defenseless monsters where he can then beat them up. His recovery move is a zipline.

Sly Cooper in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Sly Cooper uses his C-shaped cane for most attacks. His Level 3 super is like Snake’s Final Smash from Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The super begins with Sly disappearing from the screen, followed by an aiming reticule popping up. Bentley (yup, our turtle friend) shows up and gives you pointers to take out your enemies.

Sweeth Tooth in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Sweet Tooth has different nasty attacks with his Level 3 super being him turning into the mecha clown ice cream truckyou all have come to love, and is equipped with a powerful gun.

Fat Princess in Sony Smash Bros. on Paul Gale Network
- Fat Princess’ Level 3 super involves a bunch of little elves coming out and throwing fireballs at everyone on screen.

Stages:
- In the LittleBigPlanet stage, Buzz! pops up on screen when triggered (you pick up a Buzz! remote and use it) and asks you certain trivia questions and there are different platforms that appear that you can jump on, with each having a differentanswer. Get the answer wrong and it’s bye-bye by pie in your eye (KO’d).
- In Jak and Daxter’s “Sandover Village” stage, there’s a fish swimming at the bottom that will eat you if you don’t hop onto a higher level.
- In Sandover Village, there are characters from Hot Shots Golf in the far background. When you pick up a flag, the camera zooms to the background where the golfers will begin swinging flaming golf balls at the stage, damaging all in their path…so you have to move quickly to get out of the way.

Super moves:
- There’s a three level bar that gradually fills up throughout the match as you pummel your foes.
- The first bar that gets filled allows you to release a strong attack.
- The second bar gives your character a cool, more damaging attack.
-The third bar when finally maxed out gives the player what’s the equivalent to a Final Smash attack in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. These above all else, are really character specific in looks and function and are quite nice.

Items:
- RPG Rocket Launcher = a one hit kill.
- Quick Boots = you run around faster.
- Stage exclusive items like the Flag on Sandover, Buzz! Remote in LittleBigPlanet, etc.

Other details:
- If you fall/get knocked off a stage without recovering back onto it, you’ll die. On stages without ledges, you’ll die by a big enough attack or enough back-to-back damage (or environmental death).
- A bunch of attacks, followed by a pause, and then more attacks won’t necessarily KO you. To be knocked out, it seems like you have to suffer something a bit more devastating.
- Characters drop orbs when they’re killed. You pick them up. The more you get, the better off you are.
- The game is expected to be a 2012 title.
- 4 players fight at once on screen.
- The game’s name is still not set in stone.
- The standard match is 3 minutes long (likely extendable).
- There will be online play.
- PlayStation Move controls have not been added to the most recent build, however that may change.
- The development team said that they’re still working on making the cast and stages a varied one and are looking at plus or minus 20 playable characters.
- The game won’t be littered with half a dozen playable characters from one franchise, rather, supporting characters from these games will have cameos (like the previously mentioned Bentley).
- A few no brainers that I haven’t seen yet but assume will make it are the pair of Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter.

Here are my ideas, first is the items that aid or injure the characters...

Jak and Daxter:

Red Eco- makes your attacks stronger. damages your opponents more.

Blue Eco- increases the speed of your running, jumping, and attacks.

Green Eco- replenishes all of your lost health

Yellow Eco- shoot energy blasts at your opponents

Dark Eco- explodes on contact, harming you and others nearby severely.

Ratchet and Clank:

Groovitron- a neutral weapon that harms all, it forces you and your opponents to dance to the attracting music. the Groovitron then blows up harming everyone.

Confuzzler Gas- makes your opponents automatically attack each other. once the gas wears off they lose an extremely amount of health.

Death Springs- a bomb that releases coils that gravitate around the arena. they explode once you or an opponent makes physical contact with it.

Leech Bomb- sucks some of your opponents' health and gives it to you.

Mr.Zurkon- this synthenoid rotates around your character, shooting at nearby opponents. you got to love his sence of humor.

Visi-Copter- like mr. Zurkon, it spins around you, shooting at nearby enemies. it can be controlled.

Transmorpher- turn your opponents into penguins, watch them panic, and finish them with a one-hit KO!

Nanotech- break it open to replenish some of your lost health.

Crash Bandicoot:

Crates- break them open and pick the wumpa fruit inside. they replenish a small amount of your health.

NITRO/TNT Crates- Nitro crates explode on impact while TNT crates have a three-second fuse before detonating.

Infamous:

Blast Shard- fills up one level of your super meter.

...Thanks.

Here are some stages...

Jak and Daxter:

-Haven City

-Spargus City(wastelanders attack you)

-Kras City(racers shoot/run over you)

-Misty Island (the fish idea is good in this stage)

Ratchet and Clank:

-Metropolis

-Blackwater City

-Planet Merdegraw

-The Great Clock

-Dreadzone Station(DZ gladiators attack you in the background: Dallas and Juanita narrate the show)

-Planet Veldin

Sly Cooper:

-Paris

-Kaine Island

inFAMOUS:

-Empire City(the gangsters attack you in the background)

-New Marais(the Militia and the Beast attack the players)

Here is a list of super moves...

Jak:

Level 1- Dark Jak(attack your enemies with much extreme force; more powerful than the item itself. Jak is inmortal in this stage, purple electricity jumps from his body and hits opponents)

Level 2- Dark Jak(Jak is worse this time)

Level 3- Make a choice: 1)Dark Bomb(Jak finishes his opponents with his powerful dark bomb), OR 2)Dark Blast(Jak emits a discharge of dark eco energy)

Cole McGrath:

Level 1- Gigawatt Blades( cut+electrocute your opponents severely)

Level 2- Gigawatt Blades(lasts longer)

Level 3- Lightning Strike (blast your opponents off the stage!)

Nathan Hale:

Level 1- Inmortality(become inmortal for a limited time)

Level 2- Inmortality(increase the time period of your inmortality)

Level 3- Nathan Hale uses that telekinetic power that he gets after defeating the final boss.

Ratchet:

Level 1- Inferno Ratchet(from R&C 3, ignite your opponents on fire with every strike from your two wrenches. your armor protects you from any damage)

Level 2- Inferno Ratchet(lasts longer)

Level 3- RYNO(blast your opponents off the stage)

Clank:

Level 1- Zoni(they circle Clank for a while, blasting all opponents no matter how far or how close they are)

Level 2- Zoni(they hover around Clank longer)

Level 3- Giant Clank(make a choice: 1) Clank stomps on his enemies OR 2) Clank flies towards the background of the stage and he charges that blue energy blast and blasts it into the arena)

And call then "Ultimate Abilities"

Here are some taunt ideas that can be activated by pressing on any of the directional buttons...

Sly Cooper:

-"Haha, that one was almost too easy!"

-"Watch out!"

-(spins his cane like a martial artist)

Jak:

-"Let's Jak things up!"

-"I'm gonna Jak you up!"

Ratchet:

-"All right! Let's blow stuff up!"

Clank:

-(does that robot laugh of his)

Captain Qwark:

-"Qwarktastic!"

Dr. nefarious:

-(does that evil laugh of his)

-"The doctor is in!"

Kratos:

-"I AM THE GOD OF WAR"

Sackboy:

-(changes his expressions)

Up= Happy.

Down= Sad.

Left= Scared.

Right= Angry.

Here is my idea for the controls...

Directional Buttons- Activate taunts. Each button does a different taunt, so there should be four taunts for each character.

X- Jump.

Square- Light attacks.

Triangle- Special attacks(Up and Triangle are for the recovery moves).

Circle- Heavy attacks.

(NOTE: Just like Super Smash Bros. characters should perform different attacks when pressing a button and pulling the left analog stick towards a direction. They can also be charged)

Left Analog Stick- Move character(left and right), Crouch character(down), and Jump character (up).

Right Analog Stick- No ideas for this one, but make it useful.

L1 and R1- (either) block/dodge attacks.

L1 and R1- (both should be pressed at once) triggers super moves.

(NOTE: It would be wise if you do not put any commands on L2 or R2. Think about it, what if the game gets to be on the PS Vita? The PS Vita Lacks the L2 and R2 buttons)

Thanks again.

You know Paul Gale, I am surprised that this game exists. One main reason is 'cause(my opinion) Sony has the best video game characters and it will be epic to play as each and every one of them in this epic crossover. The second reason is 'cause if I get to join the game industry, my franchise characters may show up in the sequel (if there would be a sequel). Believe me, I have many good video game franchise ideas that I want to make exclusively for Sony. :)

Hey Angel, I wish you the best of sucess in your persual of joining the video game industry!  :)

Hey Paul, this game should have a story mode. And I got a good story that will probably give it the perfect name:

HINT: Depending on which playable, unlocked character you choose for story mode, playing as that chosen character only tells his/her side of the story. If you complete story mode with ALL characters you can understand it completely.

STORY: It  begins with a cutscene showing what the playable character(and the cameo characters) that the player chose to play as was doing before he/she entered the center of the Omniverse. All the playable characters(and the cameos) are warped from their original worlds and thrown into the same planet from PSM Heroes. All the characters are shocked and puzzled to see each other and the lifeless-looking planet that they're standing on. They all begin fuzzing about how they got there and who and what each other is. As soon as all the arguing is going to break into a fight, Polygon Man appears upon them. He tells all the characters that he is responsible for bringing them together and that he has merged their worlds into one Omniverse. He explains that this will cause unnatural disbalances to each of their worlds and that the one way to fix the problem was to prove who among them is the Ultimate Fighter. All characters must brawl it out to prove which among them is strong enough to face Polygon Man in a fight(although ALL playable characters must face him as the final boss). When the player finishes story mode with ALL characters, a final ending cutscene is unlocked. Polygon Man, being defeated by each and every character, self-destructs before they all jump him. An energy released from him is about to separate their worlds. The characters wave goodbye to each other and then at the player before they are warped back into their own worlds and continue their unfinished businesses.

And that's why I came with the title name: Playstation Omniverse

Thanks.
