Garnett Lee (Shacknews) and Justin Fassino (Machinima.com) join Bitmob's Dan Hsu and Demian Linn on this week's episode of The Mobcast.

The group talks about betas as marketing tools, reveal their current favorite online shooters, share their impressions of Microsoft's X10 event, debate the value of CG trailers, and discuss the last sequel announcement that actually surprised them.

Another great episode. I know this has probably been asked before, but who does the intro and outro for the Mobcast? Is it available on mp3 anywhere? Thanks in advance.

@Cody I'm not sure about the intro, but the outro is done by Ed Tremblay, who also does the theme for us on Pixel Revolt. He used to have to available for download but I think he took it down.

Shoe, I'd suggest at least giving the BioShock multi-player a try. I've been playing it a good deal over the last couple of days and am having a decent time with it. It has challenges and unlockables like Call of Duty, too!

I think Peter Molyneux(did I spell that right?)over-hypes his games but they still wind up being fun experiences. I view Peter as the James Cameron of video games; building up their projects as these revolutionary things when the results don't end up being the next Casablanca but still end up as good sources of entertainment. So while I'm not sold on Fable 3's "touch" mechanic, it's weapon making, or the ability to sprout big dumb wings to show your alignment, I think I will check out Fable 3 because it should be a decent adventure game.
