N Gear 64: The Love Child of an N64 and a Game Gear?

Modders are always cramming one video game system into another. Sometimes the results are great, and other times they are even better. The N Gear 64 is definitely a marvel of engineering, minus the removal of portability. The system is a fully working Nintendo 64 which now resides in the dead carcass of a Sega Game Gear. The only problem is, the guts of the N64 are so huge that you need an AC adapter to use it for any decent amount of time [via Technabob]:

After watching the video, you do see that Evil Nod created an interesting looking battery pack that will allow for portable gaming for a limited time. Just a side thought: Am I a system-ist for thinking it's sort of wrong for a Nintendo console to inhabit the dead remnants of a former Sega handheld?

You're not alone.  I agree there's something unseemly about a Nintendo system hunkering down in the shell of a Sega portable.  It's like if you bit into an apple and chewed on orange pulp.  Just wrong.

To me its sort of like a parasitic lifeform inside the shell of a dead system.
