It's springtime, and you know what that means! I have a sore throat and a cold...what the hell?!

News Blips:

News Blips: Minecraft's final formMinecraft will reveal its final form in November. On 11/11/11, gamers will have a big choice: Do you waste the next few months of your life playing Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim or Minecraft? The block-building game has been open to players for quite some time now but only in alpha and beta. It will be interesting to see how fans react to an official release. Minecraft's developer, Notch, says that the game won't be "very different" from the version players are building in now but that the "final release" is more of a milestone.

Liara T'soni, Ashley/Kaiden, and Garrus will all be playable characters in Mass Effect 3. The latest issue of Game Informer drops a lot of info about the space opera's final installment. As the Internet is wont to do, a NeoGAF forum member posted the info for all to see. The most informative tidbits surrounded the playability of Liara and Garrus, as well as Ashley or Kaiden -- depending on who you saved. Wrex, Legion, Mordin, Anderson, Udina, and The Illusive Man are all returning as well, but they will be characters of the non-playable persuasion. That is great, but I need to know which characters are going to be boneable -- or lady-boneable if you are rocking the FemShep.

Capcom restarts development on Mega Man Legends 3. Many of Japan's industries were shut down following the devastating earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear-power-plant threat that rocked Japan a few weeks ago. Among the delayed was Capcom's Mega Man Legends 3. Well, good news for those crazy Legends fans -- the 3DS title is back on track. Hey, quick question though: Has anyone ever met a crazy Mega Man Legends fan? [Andriasang]

Ubisoft claims that their goal is to conquer EA and Activision. "When [EA sold their stock in Ubisoft] it changed lots of things for us. We had a competitor owning a share of the company and we were always wary that they could decide they would go for the company -- and that wouldn't have been welcome," said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. Now that the French corporation is free from their very own corporate overlords, they are free to pursue any acquisitions that may have previously been in conflict with EA. "Our goal is to beat those guys, EA and Activision, at some point," said Guillemot. "We [went] from number 25 to number three, so we think that we can continue and that it is possible to be number one." Meanwhile, EA was not quoted as saying, "Let them eat cake!" [GamePolitics]
