For the less hardcore fighting game fan you could always use these toys to practice button mashing.

News Blips:

Japanese company StrapyaNext are releasing nifty Street Fighter 4 Command-Input Action Voice Straps. If you pull off the Street Fighter special move on the toy, the corresponding character will say the name of the move. They're in limited supply and only available in Japan so if you'll be attending the Tokyo Game Show 2009 at the end of this month, do you mind picking us up a couple? [1up]

Tired of waiting for a new 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game? Why not make your own! VIP members of PlaySega.com now have access to a flash 2D level-editor for the original Sonic. VIP status will run you $5.95 a month, but for a 3 month subscription you get a free Sega Saturn-style computer controller. Free members have access to play the user-made levels. Now where did we put our old school notebooks from the early 1990s with all of those sketched out levels? [Kotaku]

Mega Man's real life papa and Capcom R&D head Kenji Inafune was spotted kicking it with the Bungie team during PAX 2009. He was looking to compare game design philosophies and get some ideas for future Capcom games. Is a Capcom-Bungie collaboration somewhere in the future? Master Chief armor in the next Mega Man game perhaps? [Joystiq]

It has been confirmed that the Zune HD will also be a gaming device. A lot of details still need to be fleshed out but it looks to eventually try to compete with the iPhone, Sony PSP, and Nintendo DS. Hopefully with Microsoft's backing, this won't go the way of the N-Gage. [Wired]

I bought one of those SFIV voice keychain/keystrap things, and while the thing isn't very high quality (won't always work if you try to move the joystick in a smooth motion like the real thing, so you're better off moving it to each position in sequence), it's still quite cool. Randomly having Ryu yell out "Shoryuken" while on a call is very funny, though the amusement factor probably won't last that long.

@Kai, you just need the heart of a champion to have the amusement factor last for every call.
