Half-Life 2: Episode 2 came out in 2007 and ended on a huge cliffhanger. That was over four years ago. Since then, developer Valve has offered little information on a follow-up. What can anxious gamers possibly do? Well, they can protest...by playing Half-Life 2.
As The Escapist reports, this is exactly what a large group of fans plan to do this weekend. I'm not sure if enjoying one of the greatest first-person shooters of all time can really be called a "protest," but I do think there's a decent chance Valve will take notice of the effort. I'm not sure if they'll really offer an update on Half-Life 3, but at least these guys will have a fun weekend.
If you feel like crowbarring (don't tell me that's not a real word) some headcrabs to death with these rebellious souls, you can visit and join their Steam group. I wish you all luck!
