Puzzler: Seeing Stars
Tags: Puzzle

The stars hold all of your answers. No, this is not an astrology session. It's another puzzle.

Each answer is a five-letter word. Arrange the letters of the answer on the five corners, one at a time, in the order you would get if you were drawing a star. Each clue has a matching number that shows the starting point and first direction of travel.

Note that, in the finished puzzle, numerous letters will be shared between stars.

Here's an example, with the solution to the right:

1) Brother with a green hat

If you get stuck, here is the solution. You may also click the image below for a larger view. Good luck!

Tricky! Will need to print this out and draw my own arrows, as I can't visually keep track of letters and star directions without getting frustrato.

Without looking I'm going to guess "U R MR GAY"

This is so awesome!

I only missed the WoW reference, but I guess it's understandable since I'm not a fan :)

Frank - You can rest assured that will NEVER be an answer to any puzzle I create.

AAAArgh! You fooled me this time, Henningsen!    **Shakes fist in anger**

Yeah, I had to print this one out, too. Very neat twist on crossword puzzling. Did you invent this format yourself?

Shoe - It's hard to say whether it has been done before or not. There are many talented puzzlemakers out there. I've seen puzzles that have the letters arranged differently, like around a circle, but I've never seen the star format in print. I can honestly say that I didn't copy this off of anything I read; I just thought the star design was an obvious choice because of the link back to gaming.

Clue #8 vexes me.  I am vexed.  I have made it so I have two letters as hints, and even then I cannot get it.  Shame is mine.

You gotta do this again.  Great idea.
