Trust me when I say: You should play this game. It's the game I wanted Burnout Paradise to be.

By the way, route changers are always shortcuts, so it's to your benefit to trigger them. You can also wreck pretty much everyone in if you're last place and use let one lose. I've gone from last to first before.

And barrel dodging is my favorite event, too. =)

Pretty rad looking game. I've heard several reviewers compare is favorably to Mario Kart on account of all the hell you can throw at the other racers. Another addition to my surprisingly long list of summer games I need to get to.

I played the demo awhile back and wasn't too impressed. Don't get me wrong -- it was fun and all but it just felt slow, and kinda basic. That said, everything I'm hearing about the full game makes it sound awesome. So I'm hoping it's just a case of a bad demo for a great game.
