With the number of stuffing jokes floating around the Internet, it looks like it's the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the pre-Turkey-coma edition of the Bitmob Spotlight is at hand.

First up, Trevor Hinkle analysis of Sony's "it only does everything" campaign that followed on the heels of the PS3's redesign. Next, Finn Haverkamp parodies Mario-creator Shigeru Miyamoto's sometimes-random game design influences.

Rhys Murphy expresses his displeasure with the state of gaming on Apple's desktop and laptop computers, while Jeffrey Michael Grubb and Jacob Hinkle examine how celebrities destroy memories ruin fun, and occasionally inspire rants about Nintendo64 games. The first edition of Bitmob Survey finishes up the day.

Sony's "It Only Does Everything" Campaign: A Stroke of Genius
By Trevor Hinkle
Sony hasn't always had good ad campaigns. The PS3's launch was shrouded in a haze of weird X-Files-like black goop and freaky robo babies. But the re-vamped console's appearance also inspired a needed change in marketing -- and Trevor approves.

WAG: Wagging Action Game
By Finn Haverkamp
As Jeffrey Sandlin commented, parody time is fun time. Finn takes on Shigeru Miyamoto's infamous "random influence becomes a game" design process and applies it to the act of wagging a tail. Does the dog wag the tail or the tail the dog? The saddest part is that something like this may happen some day.

Apple and Gaming
By Rhys Murphy
It's strange how Apple computers have such a history with gaming, yet now are almost completely divorced from the concept. Apple wants to make the iPod Touch a gaming platform, but seems disinterested in pushing games on OSX. Rhys makes his case.

Celebrities and Gaming: Two Very Bad Examples
By Jeffrey Michael Grubb
Attaching your name to video games is totally "in" for the celebrity set. Tony Hawk's been doing it for ages, and now musicians of every variety are anxious to get into the game. Jeffrey isn't happy with what he's seeing.

Land of the Lost: A Movie Review On a Game Site?
By Jacob Hinkle
When Land of the Lost reminded him of other childhood memories that Will Ferrell had destroyed, Jacob decided to take a nostalgic look through his favorite N64 games. That seems like a reasonable transition, doesn't it?

Forever ago, I surveyed Bitmob with a simple question: What are your best and worst glitch experiences in Fallout 3? If you've played the console version of the game, you've no doubt met with at least one unintentional incident. Several Bitmobbers share their stories.
