Rayman Origins is a great game except for one thing that could really hurt the game's status with the masses.

"I usually play games as the good guy; so I felt doing evil all the time was even more fun for once.  I often marveled at the fact that they gave you numerous opportunities to make good or bad decisions.  It just doesn't seem like this kind of thing would come up all that much in Sith Society.  Zabrak are also pretty evil to begin with as I understand the ficiton, so that too is pretty funn"

"Personally when I played the Beta I found it really strange.  My understanding of the Sith is that Hate and Anger give you power and connection to the force.  Just like balance and peace give the Jedi their connection to the force.  So in essence, by making Light side decisions you should be weakening your character's conneciton to the force and make them weaker.  That doesn't happen in the game.  I felt the whole role playing of someone completely heartless and evil, a really cool escape.  While I wasn't a fan of the mechanics of the game, I really loved the story and voice acting.  At least they are doing 50% of the experience righ"

"       The same things that make the PC a fun platform are the same things that make it easier to pirate.  To change the PC version to prevent piracy will simply make it a high res version of the console.  If this is what you want, I guess that's cool.  But most PC folks want to mod.  This isn't going to change anytime soon.  I guess when we all have gigabit ethernet that's free; we can have games that are required to be online 24/7 to make sure the version the person is playing is legit.  But I'm thinking by that point we all be playing games on something that more resembles a pair of glasses or impant than a console or a PC.  At least at the incredibly slow rate that internet service providers are going with their services.  Most appear to be around 5-10 years behind what would be reasonable at this point.  There is no infastructure, I guess they should have been doing something other than counting their money for the past 10 years."

"      I love print media.  But it seems like most print publications are incredibly inefficently run and tend to have operating costs that are crazy compared to the average website outlet.  More and more it seems like our favorite publications are either disappearing or becoming bi-monthly.  I don't know how a magazine that comes out bi-monthly or quarterly can be relevant; when online is going 24/7.  Its just a very sad state of affairs."

"My favorite villian is Mr.Freeze because he is just trying to bring his wife back to life by any means necessary.  I think that a lot of people would do the same in his shoes.

"   It's a great comparison.  There is only one problem.  In Dark Souls and Demon's Souls no one really tells you what the rules are.  So unlike a parent/child relationship where rules are allways fully laid out for the child and if they break them, hence the discipline.  But you are certainly on the right track."

"I recently watched a show on youtube that had a couple guys playing through Doom 3.  I had forgotten how good, for the time, the game looked.  Also, the guns, especially the shotgun was incredibly impactful.  There were monster closets and from my own experience with the game, I remembered it doing a good job of creating a clausterphobic atmosphere.  My feeling is that for the time, the game was really doing some things that were ahead of its time.  In fact, I think a lot of the jump scares of Doom 3 would be copied in FEAR 2 and even later in Dead Space.  Along with the sense of close enviornments and a sense of being alone with monsters all around you.  All of these were done first in Doom 3.  If they had just had a flashlight on that gun, maybe we would be looking at Doom 3 as a classic rather than at least to some; as a joke."

"      Ebay is a great option for both selling games and finding them at a descent deal.  Stores like Gamestop are just tryingto make money off of you pure and simple.  They are going to give you as little as they possibly can for a game.  At least with Ebay, you have some chance of recouping some of your money.

Remember guys, most developers aren't involved at ALL in the business decisions surrounding their games.  The Publishers do all of that.  I really believe that most developers understand that online passes aren't the answer.  But their Publisher won't give them enough time and resources to make better games.  I don't honestly believe that ANY developer wants to make a mediocre game.  Games are way much too hard to make and they take too long to make; to believe that."
