Capcom does a really good at pleasing its hardcore fans. People asked for bizarro Wii fighter Tatsunoko vs. Capcom to come to the States and Capcom promptly set up a green card. Now if we only had a new Bionic Commando game. Oh, wait... Uh, Resident Evil 6?

New Blips:

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom boards small white plane for USA. Gaming mag Nintendo Power officially announced Wii fighter Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will soon be coming stateside. Don't know who Capcom is fighting? It's cool. We won't tell 'em. [Kotaku]

Kojima Productions teaser page continues teasing for your displeasure. Yep, it's that damn site again. The one we talked about on two occasions already. So what's new? Just a countdown clock. Oh, and a storm. Get this: We hear at 48:15:16 it will start raining. But we could be teasing. Come back here tomorrow morning to find out. [1UP]

Bethesda's spastic arm motions indicate Wii game announcement soon. The folks behind Fallout 3 and Oblivion will be revealing a "big" title made specifically for the Wii later this year (E3?). No word on what kind of game it will be, but if it doesn't involve prettying up ponies with armor, we're so not interested. [GamesIndustry via Kotaku]

Team Ninja turndown Pirate offer; stick with Ninja Gaiden franchise. Even though former series director and lover of physics-defying boobies, Tomonobu Itagaki, is no longer working at developer Team Ninja, the members left confirmed they will continue making Ninja Gaiden games. Or at least until Robots give them an offer they can't compute. [Kikizo via Joystiq]

Hit the jump for a pre-teaser teaser for Mass Effect 2, Microsoft press conference scuttlebutt, hot Mirror's Edge cosplay, and...more.

Video Blips:

Watch Mass Effect 2 developers tell you how awesome their awesome game is. If you want the visuals to do the talking, you're going to have to wait until the full trailer is released at next month's E3. Until then, believe the man with the funny mustache.

Game industry folks play the guessing game. GameTrailers put up another episode of their Bonus Round show, this one featuring a crew predicting what Microsoft might show off at E3. Our guess: games.

Cultural Blips:

Mirror's Edge cosplay doesn't need mirror to look hot. Check out these amazing Mirror's Edge cosplay photos. [Kotaku]

Silent Hill cosplay needs mirror to look hot. Check out these amazingly creepy Silent Hill cosplay photos. [GameSetWatch]

Bethesda doing a Wii title? Sounds like suicide to me. Whatever it is, it definitely is going to be far from what they have done in the best. Elder Scrolls Cart Racer, perhaps? Do you become a morally reprehensible character and throw a banana peal in the road or do you sacrifice 1st place to the crippled N'oanoghoul for good karma?

I dunno, Bioware did a pretty solid Sonic RPG on DS from what I've heard, so it doesn't sound all that out there for Bethesda to do a Wii title.

I had a feeling that I shouldn't have ordered Tatsunoko VS Capcom from Play-Asia! Oh well, I'll still buy the domestic release.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom coming over man there has too be a big story behind that, first off how did they pull it off license wise. will be interesting to see how this develops. gives me hope for the Super robot wars games coming over, but maybe that is asking far to much indeed.

It's awesome to learn that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is coming to Wii in the US. This game, the new Resident Evil, Monster Hunter 3, and Spyborgs; all from Capcom in 2009. Nice job.

regarding kojima's teaser: they used the font on purpose because it's the same font that's been used by all konami promotional material for metal gear solid since mgs2. it's a 5 (five) not an S.... it's going to be mgs5! :) and i like the idea that the lightning = raiden foreshadowing. raiden/raijin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raijin e3 presskits: mgs 2: http://www.freewebs.com/outerheavenresistance/My Collection- Promo/Promo- MGS2 Press Kit.JPG mgs 3: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8716/img2473s.jpg mgs 4: http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/7290/img2367t.jpg -bay

Did they ever plan on bringing that joystick to the US as well for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom? [url]http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/20081024/exar.htm?ref=rss[/url] If not can you use the import stick on an american Wii?
