Last night while I was on twitter I seen a post about two Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time Demo's are coming out and posted by PS3Center. Now unlike most I wish demo's would come out before the games release. How ever that ain't the topic even though you may want it to be.

Now with Demo's some can be long and others are shorter then five minutes. I don't time anything I just try to extend the life of my demo by doing everything else first before it is over. With that being said lets get to the question you came here to read an maybe answer.

What Demo really hooked you into a game and what demo turned you off to a game and what were these games?

The Demo that really hooked me was A Kingdom For Keflings really hooked me. After figuring out that if I don't make that last building I can play for over five hours clearing out the land before being truly finished.

As for a demo/beta that made me want to kick it to the curb was Uncharted 2 Beta. Just didn't enjoy the controls or gameplay.

Two demos that I loved were Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Ninja Gaiden, both for the Xbox. I bought the games based on their excellent demos.

One demo I did not like was, hmmm, how about A Kingdom for Keflings!!! :P - kidding Toby!!!

Oh, WET!!! That demo got boring.

@Toby: What?! The Uncharted 2 beta turned you off? I'm loving it.

As for demos that hooked me: BioShock and Batman.

Demos that turned me off: Dead Space. That demo was poorly conceived.

@Brett - Uncharted 2 just doesn't do anything for me. I mean is it sad I would rather spend money on a Ratchet & Clank game or even Jax & Dexter game if they made it over this game. I know if I was to spend money on Uncharted 2 it would be a waste like I did with MUA 2.

Uncharted series is not for everyone and it is one series I can live with out you could say.

@Toby - Dude!!!! You have to give Uncharted 2 another chance, it's damn good! The multiplayer is sort of like Gears and the single player is outstanding! I am half-tucking my t-shirt right now!

@Brett - Good call on the Bioshock demo - I forgot about that one.

@Lance I don't even like Gears to be honest. Due to the control scheme it turned me off. So look for mondays discussion to be more Geared towards this for you.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater. I played that demo FOREVER. Loved it.

Hmm, one that turned me off...Brutal Legend. It's funny and clever, but combat is just kind of...okay. I still really want to like the game though.

No its just the silly comments get messed up sometimes.... >:( But sometimes I do answer myself, that way I am never lonely! ;D
