As the final fantasy lover that i am I was very exited for the new addition to the series. After having to drag myself through the whole thing this is my opinion. At the star they display beautiful cut -scenes that surprised me coming from a console, and right when the new game luster started to were off they introduced a new game mechanic. This is in no way a bad thing it actually brightens the game up.

    I was still loving the game when i got to the inevitable point where i had to grind for levels when i was facing Lightning's lecide. I would not have minded it if i still had a decent chance at winning the fight, but because this fight was out of the blue i had no chance to go back and level  my characters  (Hope,Lightning).After constantly dyeing for three hours I somehow made it through the fight and after that loved it, but they still had a few times that this happened so now to the pros and cons.

                     PROS:

A new game mechanic is inserted into the game often but easy enough to adapt it to your strategies.

Amazing cut-scenes (best i've scene on a console)

Even though it is in a certain way turn-based with all the game mechanics at once is almost live action

Great back stories for every character

CONS:

You almost have to drag yourself through the game (a good 100hours)

Random bosses sometimes make it almost impossible to win it .

Some cut-scenes could have bean shortened dramatically and still have the same effect.

      Basically if you are a very hardcore fan you will play it no matter what but i actually didn't like it that much overall it is a 65%
