This edition of Craziest Commercials is a nonstop thrill ride through the games Sony really wanted you to buy in the '90s. Sony had a lot of prove when they entered the console market with the PlayStation, but clearly, something they did worked. I just hope it wasn't all of the creepy ads in which men fixated on Lara Croft....
1) Happy Friends
I want a giant Chocobo to jump out of the TV and play with me....
He's got a point. All anyone wants to do in Spyro is burn sheep.
When I think of Pac-Man, I almost always see Mr. T.
4) Double Life
Ooh, so being a gamer is like living a double life....
Prison: where clowns should stay.
6) 3Xtreme
This makes up for growing up in the '90s.
7) Duke Nukem: Planet of the Babes
Do you really need another Duke Nukem game when this exists?
8) Shadow Man
I thought this was a Spawn commercial at first.
9) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Apparently, Alucard swings a sword like a girl.
10) Society Against PlayStation
Pro tip 1: The best way to market your product is to bash it.
11) Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle
This game is terrible, but Bruce Campbell's voice acting made it tolerable.
12) Resident Evil 2
This commercial tormented me while I tried to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000.
13) Syphon Filter
Pro tip 2: Make people think the game causes paranoid delusions.
14) Crash Bandicoot
Sony made tons of these Crash commercials. This is one of my favorites.
15) Tekken 3
I don't think Tekken can really stop domestic abuse....
