Technically, what I said was correct - Spacewar was the first *computer* game, while Tennis for Two was the first...um...oscilloscope game. I'm in the camp that doesn't really consider TfT a true video game - in my eyes, it goes Spacewar->Computer Space->Odyssey->Pong->everything else.
And no, I'm not a teacher - just an engineer and gaming enthusiast. Don't worry, every episode isn't going to sound like a lecture!
I'm sorry Brian, I was on my Honeymoon when you posted this so I missed it.
