you will realize that the difference in taste of what Japanese and western gamers perceive as great games is staggering. No Zelda, no Metroid, New Super Mario Bros Wii barely made it to the top 20.

If you haven't played Persona 4, you don't know what you are missing. Best game of the last decade, by far. No Half-Life 2 , no San Andreas, no Resident Evil 4 , no Portal can touch it in terms of design and gameplay (even story, not that i care).

I really enjoyed this video. In an industry where everyone is trying so hard to be different and unique, it's nice to see a multitude of industry figureheads sharing a common admiration for Japanese game design. There should be more things like this out there.
