For the low, low price of $700, you can have this spectacular device that lets you know if your Nintendo Entertainment System games and accessories are actually working. In my experience, they usually are, and it's the system that's given up the ghost....

These stations are exceedingly rare, hence the hefty price tag in this eBay auction. Nintendo service centers used them to test defective products ranging from the AV port to the games themselves. If you own one of these, it means you or the person you bought it from gutted one of Nintendo's repair centers when it shut down. 

That's a rather grim aspect to an otherwise intriguing bit of gadgetry.
